Place and Time
The 16th Lithuanian Sports' Games (further the Games) will take place on 10-11th of June 2023 in the sport centre of Duffel, Rooienberg 54, 2570 Duffel. The tennis tournament will takle place in the Heiveld Tennis (http://heiveld.com/) club, Dreefvelden 1, 2860, Sint Katelijne - Waver.
There is a Duffel's train station nearby. The sports centre is 5 minutes' walk from the train station.
Baltic countries' citizens or their origin persons and their family members, and the guests, living and working in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands are invited to participate in the Games. Like the previous year, we are inviting Latvian and Estonian communities in Belgium. This year we are waiting guests from Ukraine and Duffel.

Registration
All participants and the spectators of the Games must register by 7th June 23:59. Afterwards the registration will be stopped. By registering you confirm that you 'read and agree' to the Responsibilities of participants.
The participants and the spectators, who are 13 years or older on the first day of the Games, have to pay the Games' participant fee, which partially covers the organisational expenses. Participation is free for children of 12 years old and younger. The participant fee is 15 EUR paid during the registration or on arrival in cash.
Non-registered people pay 20 EUR on arrival, but organisers don't guarantee places in the tournaments.
Families who have received Ukrainians are invited to come to the Games together with Ukrainians. Participation is free for Ukrainians (but registration is required).
Team's registration
The participants of the team sports (except children football and children/women basketball) must to register a team a team by 7th June 23:59.
Dinner
This year the dinner menu includes potato pudding better known as "Kugelis". Dinner price - 14 EUR / full portion and 8 EUR / half portion. We kindly ask you to book the dinner by 5th June 12:00.
The non-booked dinner on the spot is going to be 20 EUR! Limited availability.
Water bottles and plastic
Please be aware that Flanders is banning the use of plastic and single-use cutlery. Therefore the plastic boltes won't be available at this year's Games. It is important for everyone to bring their own water bottles! The sports center has several water fountains which could be used for free.
We will also replace single-use cups for beer and kvas with reusable ones. Reusable cups will be available at the Infocentre (deposit will be required). Of course, you can also bring your own reusable cups.
Registration for Duffel residents
The Lithuanian community in Belgium invites Duffel's residents to take part in the Games. The Games are meant to celebrate not only sports but also the spirit of togetherness, friendship and solidarity.
Men and women, boys and girls compete in basketball, tennis, badminton, table tennis (ping-pong), checkers, chess, track and field (running, long/high jumps, shot put), floor ball, swimming, football, volleyball, pétanque and family-relays.
Registrations for Duffel residents to the Games and for the Dinner are the same as for everybody else. Please follow the registration links above.

Additional contest and services
We expect a significant number of participants and guests at the Games. An information centre will be open providing information and helping to find the locations of different sports. Please do not hesitate to contact the information centre in case you have any questions.
T-shirts and other Games' gear will be on sale at the information centre. Duffel's swimming pool will be open on Saturday as usual and is at your disposal for a small fee. The children under the age of 12 are allowed at the swimming pool only with adults. The pool will be open on Sunday for our competitions only.
During basketball tournaments the three-pointers and free throws competitions will be organised. Everyone could participate and no advanced registration required; registration is done on site just before the competitions. The children will have relay and other games organised just for them (like hip-hop dancing on Sunday).
A bar will be open in the sports centre. It will serve refreshments, snacks, and quick meals.
As the last time, a village bakery from Radviliskis (a small town in the North of Lithuania) is going to sell Lithuanian products.
Safety requirements
There is no emergency centre/first aid point in the Sports centre. All participants and guests must have health insurance. Safe games and entertainments are of all participants' concern.
We ask parents to take care of their children security and discipline. The parents are responsible for their children's behaviour all the time, and are materially responsible for any damaged inventory in the centre.
We ask all participants to follow safe conduct rules, not to forget to be attentive to each other, friendliness and tolerance.
We count on your support and cooperation, and we are looking forward that these traditional games would remind everyone many pleasant experiences, full of honorary won medals and high achievements.
